Frequently Asked Questions
What can be measured using U-RHYTHM?
In our studies, we use state of the art mass spectrometry and proteomics techniques to analyse a multitude of biomolecular analytes including cortisol and other steroid hormones, melatonin, and metabolites, as well biochemicals of interest (e.g., pharmaceutical drugs).
And as U-RHYTHM is adaptable, it can sample from a large range of body fluid (e.g., blood) and tissues (e.g., muscle, and in the clinical setting, neuronal tissue).
Will users experience any discomfort?
There is no discomfort associated with wearing the U-RHYTHM device. Initial fitting of the minute probe is the equivalent to a sharp scratch received during a blood test.
Can I sleep while wearing U-RHYTHM?
Absolutely. Users have reported a good night's sleep when wearing the U-RHYTHM device.
